Do I take some more starting line ratio, or help my rpm drop on the 1-2 shift. I am using a hydraulic roller so im RPM limited and cant go any more than the 3.55's Im using now in the rear.

  6. 27 mar 2008 · Your straight cut gears are mucho stronger than the stock 1.82 gears. The stock ones are junk on anything over 250 horses for very long. The optimum ratio for aftermarket gears is 1.80 for those who want that. The stock 1.76 are pretty strong too.
