12 lip 2023 · Got a '98 Triple E Senator with a Power Square PC40 converter and I'm about sure it's not doing anything to prevent overcharging or boiling out the house battery. This is my first RV with a separate converter from the DC panel.
My new rig has a converter manufactured by Todd Engineering Sales. The unit is called Power Source battery charger. Model PC40 - (40A) I have never heard of this brand of converters and was wondering if anyone else has. The unit was DOA when I bought the TT (97) so I took it out and disassembled it on my tailgate while camping by a lake.

24 wrz 2003 · I have successfully repaired a Todd Engineering Sales, Inc. Model PC 40 power source. I drew a schmatic diagram and I would be delighted to share that with those of you that would like to have one. I found two open 62K ohm resistors that are in parallel in the zener voltage regulator circuit that powers the PWM IC circuit.
