Renew Driver's License. Driver’s licenses expire on a person’s birthday. If the license is renewed on or before the expiration date, driving privileges will continue without interruption. Provisional driver’s licenses and instruction permits expire two years from the date of application. Class D.
Schedule online at drive.mn.gov. Commercial knowledge tests, motorcycle knowledge tests and all other types of knowledge tests do not require an appointment; they are available on a walk-in basis. Please check with your local exam station for testing times.
