Several authors have proposed diagnostic criteria for PPS, 5, 16, 17 where the March of Dimes (MoD) criteria seem to be more and more universally accepted. The prevalence rate of cancer pain in elderly patients was 19.3%, which was significantly lower than that in non-elderly patients (31.4%). Fatigue in elderly patients was 27.9%, which was significantly lower than that in non-elderly patients (37.6%).
