27 maj 2018 · Beating Plantera unlocks the hardmode dungeon as well as giving access to biome chest keys. Before fighting plantera, I'd recommend crafting the Pickaxe Axe, or the Drax from the mech bosses and getting a full set of chlorophyte armor from the jungle.

Get chlotophyte armor with helmet, it gives better damage boost and has better defence. Also, it has a 1/5 chance not to consume ammo. Yes, hallow armor has a dodge ability but it has a cooldown. The only adventage hollow armor has over chlotophyte armor is that it gives an extra +%6 critcal strike chance.

Beating all 3 Mechanical Bosses grants you access to the Drax, able to mine Chlorophyte (green ore) in the Jungle, Pink Bulbs will also randomly grow in the Jungle which are not to be messed with, and Solar Eclipses will be even harder.
