The purpose of the POSB CDA GIRO form is to allow parents to apply for a GIRO arrangement for their Child Development Account (CDA) with POSB Bank. This form is used to authorize POSB to deduct monthly contributions directly from the parent's bank account and deposit it into the CDA.
A Child Savings Account (CSA), being a Joint-Alternate My Account (Kids) will be automatically opened with each opening of CDA (including CDA transferred from other banks). The CSA will receive Government disbursements like Baby Bonus Cash Gift, education awards and financial awards.
