Check-in, baggage drop-off, and boarding times. Check-in and boarding times depend on the originating airport as outlined below. All times shown are prior to scheduled departure and apply to flights operated by Porter Airlines.
If you are travelling with checked baggage, simply check it on the way to your flight at one of the designated Porter baggage drop-off counters located in the check-in area. All passengers must observe baggage check-in cut off time .
The Porter Airlines (PD) baggage policy for regular basic fares include the following: 1 personal item - Fee free Checked baggage / Hold luggage - Applicable fees per bag increase with number checked.
Porter Airlines allows passengers to bring one standard carry-on bag and one personal item on board. The carry-on bag should not exceed the dimensions of 9 x 15.5 x 21.5 inches (23 x 39 x 55 cm) and must weigh no more than 9 kg (20 lbs).

I have checked luggage with Porter, it’s the same as AC or any other carrier. It’s direct flights from YYZ to YVR, shouldn’t be an issue with checked baggage. Most flights were pretty much on time, last week mine YYZ to YVR flight was delayed about 20-30 minutes.
