The PONY national organization (MBYB is a PONY organization) determines "league age" by a by a player's age on April 30th - see below for 2025 Season League Age Chart. Note: Since the Fall Season has a developmental focus, players are eligible to play Fall 2024 Season using their Spring 2025 ages.
2024 League Age Chart. Content. Pony Baseball Age / Division Chart - 2025 Season. During the 2022 PONY International Board of Directors meeting, a decision was reached to change the date for determining player eligibility from August 31 to April 30. The rule change will take effect immediately.
A player’s League Age determines which division they play in. Over the last couple of years, Pony, our parent organization has adjusted the age determination to April 30th from Aug 31st. The chart below lists the League Ages for the 2025 Spring League divisions.
