It will not install because the minimum system requirement of Office 365 is Mac OS X version 10.14 or later. Either upgrade Mac OS to 10.14, or use the October 2020 build, which you can download from this link: Office suite (with Teams)
Starting with the September 2024 update (16.89) macOS Ventura or later is required to receive updates to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. If you continue with an older version of macOS, your Office apps will still work, but you'll no longer receive any updates including security updates.
