The Battle of Moscow was a series of two battles in 1612, during the Polish–Muscovite War, that ended in Russian victories. The Polish–Lithuanian army, led by Jan Karol Chodkiewicz, tried to rescue the Polish garrison in the Kremlin, but was repelled by the Russian forces of Dmitry Pozharsky and the Cossacks.
