OPP record check applications — including payment and ID verification — are now online. Your identity will be verified using Electronic Identity Verification (EIV). The majority of applicants will not be required to attend an OPP detachment ( see exceptions ).

1 kwi 2022 · NEW EFFECTIVE MAY 17, 2022: The Windsor Police Service will no longer be mailing hard copy record check results for applicants who apply online (unless under exceptional circumstances). Completed record checks will be available electronically by secure download through your online account.

Applications for police record checks can be submitted online only. To view the status of your existing record check, log into your account. Please note: Although record checks are delivered electronically, you must be available to attend in person should you require fingerprinting or identity verification.
Please contact your local police service to obtain a police record check. Photo identification that includes your name, date of birth and address is required. Acceptable forms of identification include drivers licence, photo health card, passport, birth certificate, Ontario photo card, permanent residence card, etc.
