Once I installed the kythera for both systems I went to shoot it. Both dont feed and notice the hopup moves forward and backwards, plus the mag tilts on it's own when shooting. So I started to use orings instead of the spring and still wont feed.
Pros. 100% mechanical, supposed to be 10 or 15% more efficient than f2. Cheapest engine out. The only Con i can think of is RoF. Thats only because its a mechanical trigger not a solenoid. You cant put a fcu in it so no settings or Binary triggers.
11 lip 2021 · Recently bought a Polarstar Kythera and am having difficulty in getting it to feed. Even when holding down the wind button on my box mags doesn't help. Right now it is firing every third trigger pull. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I'm really intrigued by the Kythera and all the potential build options and tinkering possibilities. Is it any good, or would I just be shooting myself in the foot? Disclaimer, yes I know it's semi only and all that jazz, that doesn't really bother me. Couple of main questions: - Is it efficient? (all day air is 12 DOLLARS at my home field.
5 gru 2022 · Polarstar Kythera: 10/10: works perfectly and without battery, nice trigger. A good amount of grease is needed to make it seal. It works without the charging cord in my gun. Polarstar gearbox shims are needed to fix it inside the gearbox, with them it is perfectly aligned with the hopup. Only works well with very few buckings (TNT TR Hop).
