Passwords are a way the player can customize their playing experience. This includes skipping parts of the game, QOL changes, and making the game more or less difficult. Players may input passwords at the start of the game, during the registration with Amanda, or by using a Data Chip at a PC.

What/where are they? Planning on starting a new run to see everything so some passwords would be helpful, especially since I'm going to monotype.
For passwords at the start of the game, you just get alternate player sprites. For in the briefcase in Goldenwood forest it's just for like an ability capsule.
