Is pixelmon going to be implemented in the 1.18 version this year? I've asked some months ago if it'd update to be compatible with the most recent versions, and the answer was that it was planned for later in 2021.

For manual installation, you may need to install a later JRE. The minimum Forge version for this update is 48.1.0 and is required for a Pixelmon client to run. Worlds from 1.16.5 may not work with newer versions of Minecraft. Consider backups before updating.
