6 paź 2024 · Now FOX and ABC will not play when connecting on a smartTV OR playing on PC through browser (Google Chrome in this case). NBC and CBS work fine. When using the Plex App on windows PC, everything works great.

But if you want to make the antenna TV experience a bit more modern, you should add local channels to your Plex server for a killer channel guide, remote streaming, DVR functionality, and more.
In 2021 I bought a TV tuner for my Plex server PC, and I don't know why, but I still find it really cool that I can stream my local TV channels even when I'm outside my home. It seems I could probably stream my local TV channels if I'm traveling anywhere in the world.
22 maj 2018 · Scan channels in plex. Continue even though channels are missing. after the dvr is added, delete the dvr in plex. Download, extract, and run the attached program (ChannelFixer.exe) re-add dvr in plex but do not re-scan channels. All available channels should be mapable and correct.
For the troubleshooting, I tried to install the Hauppauge's official software that came with the tuner, tried to tune the channels there and every channel works without a problem. I also tried to re-scan the whole channels again in the Plex.
I run an antenna to an HDHR for OTA live TV, and media is saved to a NAS. The desktop auto logs into the plex account on boot and PMS is set to auto run on startup. The problem: Every week or two my guide would just stop updating.
