27 lut 2022 · Solved: Today when I turned on my TV Roku was not displaying the "LIve TV & DVR" library in the left side menu. It was working last night. I rebooted the Roku and PLEX server but it still did not show up.

9 paź 2023 · Plex live TV 720p channels work, but 1080i channels fail after about 2 minutes on a Roku Streambar and a Roku Ultra that are both on Roku OS 12.5, build 4169.
12 kwi 2024 · I’m getting errors when I try to tune to Live TV that requires transcoding on my Roku or Android boxes, but these channels work properly in the web player. Plex Server is running on the latest Truenas Scale.
Everything other Plex client worked fine (IOS, Android, LG Smart TV, Browser) and Roku worked fine before I moved PMS from Windows to a Shield Pro. The fix for me was to change the settings in the Roku Plex app. Settings -> Video -> "Local Quality" = Original and "Allow MPEG2" = Checked
22 mar 2023 · If you have a Plex DVR set up, not only can you watch it live on supported Plex apps, but you can also (with an active Plex Pass subscription) record content! So, now you can watch live TV on your lunch break, the commute to work, or while lying in bed where you don’t otherwise have a TV.
After several disappointing attempts using Live TV/DVR, it finally was stable enough that I switched to Plex from an older Windows Media Center box. Just recently I started getting the guide errors on Roku.
