For PS4 Pro-enhanced games, that's patently false. Skyrim runs in native (yes, native) 4K. Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and others tended at 1800p (nearly 4K) before being upscaled the rest of the way.

If you didn’t have a standard PS4, and you had a 4K TV between late 2016 and late 2020, it may have been worth it to buy a PS4 Pro. Personally, it wasn’t worth it to me. I purchased my standard PS4 on Black Friday 2015 for $279.
Yep, especially with a SSD. You can take a look at comparison videos on YouTube, there is a clear difference in terms of resolution. When you look at games like Horizon Forbidden West, it is very blurry on base PS4 but impressive on Pro regarding its age.
There’s a few “gaming” channels on YouTube that just release video after video everyday yet somehow don’t say anything new or useful. This guy is one of them. He’s also just not very funny and that intro bugs me.

I found a second hand PS4 Pro (CUH-7116B) with a 1TB SSD (Crucial MX500) for 250€. Do you think it's worth it, or would it be better to invest that money in a new generation PS5? Thanks!
Watch videos from digital foundry on YouTube, they do frame and fps analysis on ps4 and ps4 pro. With the next update comes an option to play all old non pro games with a boost mode, with some games having much better performance than standard ps4.
