Yes get it off steam, why it's cheaper, and if you have other games on steam it makes sense to have sims 3 there. I say you should get a bundle or pick wisely what you want. I been waiting for two years now for the stuff packs to go back on sale since 2020. It never happened.
Overall my Sims 3 plays better now than it did when I had a desktop when it first came out. I play with all expansions, lots of mods and lots of cc too. Here's the steam guide if it helps:
I had the same question a few days ago but I snever played Sims 3 before. It was worth it. I needed to get used to the settings but that was OK. I would say it is totally worth it. But watch out because of the Steam sale. The Complete Edition has every DLC, NOT the game itself. You need to buy Sims 3 seperatly.
Of course, the advantage to waiting is that it might get a nice patch to some of it's gaping holes and a potential reduction in price, but it is a fun worthwhile expansion pack to play in it's...
31 lip 2024 · Playing Sims 3 Still in 2021. Hi Simmers! It has been a very long time that I have posted here (March 2015 to be exact-6 years later). I love this game and in the year of 2021, Iam still FAITHFULLY still playing this game. I thought my game was working good and then BOOM!
3 paź 2023 · I still play The Sims 2, but yeah, I still play the living daylights out of The Sims 3. Even if it's arguably the least stable of the bunch, and that on my last playthrough, I kinda accidentally thrashed my game.
I switched over to the Sims 3 when ambitions was released, and ever since I've been hooked. I'm not actually playing the game anymore, just taking the pictures needed for my story. Owning the store, I have still not explored everything and everyplace!
