Some categories load almost instantly (bottoms, shoes, accesories) and even the most bloated category (full outfits, aka 90% of the Store) loads in 10 seconds. If you don't have as much content as I do, it'll probably load faster.
Also, as an update, I can confirm that following the OPs tutorial has fixed the crashing for me, although I can only run the game in windowed mode now - the game runs and plays audio in fullscreen but I get a black screen.
Install NRAAS MasterController mod and use the ‘reset everything’ option every 3 or so sim weeks (just click on town hall>NRAAS>MasterController>Town). Use NRAAS Traveller mod to move your family (and any other sims you like) to a new town to keep playing them for many generations if your current world is getting slow.
31 sie 2021 · Lazy Duchess recently released a new mod for The Sims 3 that’s meant to speed up the game and make it load things faster. Build/Buy, CAS, and gameplay should all see noticeable performance improvements but Lazy Duchess does caution that this mod is not a fix-all miracle potion for the game.
