There's workarounds for pretty much everything and using a good cloud service can ease a lot of the pain, but generally the Mac and the Pixel are clearly not made to play well together and it shows. I don't think there was a deal breaker per se, but overall all the minor annoyances added up for me and I went back to an iPhone.
