28 wrz 2024 · This laboratory manual is meant to be used in a lab course that accompanies a college-level introductory human anatomy course. It covers the language of anatomy, cells and tissues, and the organ systems that comprise the human body. Multiple open textbooks were adapted to create this lab manual.
These activities are designed for students to use their laboratory class time to grasp the terms and anatomy and to work in groups to "test" each other, thereby beginning to study their anatomy while still in the classroom.
Lab Summary: In this lab, you will practice using anatomical terminology, identifying body regions, planes, cavities, and serous membranes. This exercise will help you learn the “ABCs” of A&P, which uses a language all its own!

This lab manual covers the major body systems typically studied in the undergraduate anatomy lab. In each lab, Each system has an introduction, followed by a pre-lab where students are asked to label structures that they will then see in the lab.
