The Inside Out figures and playset will work with 3.0, but not 2.0 or 1.0. While the frozen and brave figures will work with 3.0 even though they are from previous versions. It would seem that the 3.0 game does not have the 2.0 playsets included for "backward compatibility." The physical playset pieces are simply to tell the client (aka game) to unlock the corresponding playset on the disc, but it does not contain the actual playset.
On steam, I noticed there was a Disney Infinity 3.0 edition of the game. Does this come with EVERY playset and character from 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0? Or is it missing any, if so, could somebody tell me which ones? I want to get back into the game.
