This is a setup that will allow you to fish in different biomes by simply jumping from platform to platform. Fishing just above the water will let you fish in the underground layer, while standing on the top platforms will allow you to fish while on the surface.
For the absolute best fishing loadout, equip either the Glowing Fishing Bobber or the Fishing Bobber (obtained by the angler), the Lavaproof Tackle Bag, the Angler Tackle Bag, and the Angler Earring for the highest base fishing power, ignoring time and weather conditions.
