Head – The head is a cylindrical metallic tube that holds the eyepiece lens at one end and connects to the nose piece at other end. It is also called a body tube or eyepiece tube.

These images are from his project H2O for Life. He prepared twenty 3″ x 1″ glass slides with London water. Using a polarizing microscope and a fluorescence microscope to show the structute, and any particles that may have attached from the air. To enable fluorescence he coated the back of the slide with chemicals.
