20 lip 2019 · In windows, set your graphics driver preference to "maximum performance", and ensure you are selecting your dedicated GPU. If you are an nVidia user, go to the nVidia control panel and set your preferred graphics processor to performance in 3D settings.

Try swapping between fullscreen and borderless windowed. I've run borderless windowed for years with no issues, but the summer update tanked my fps and I was able to get better performance in fullscreen. edit: I discovered the problem was actually steam eating up all my GPU memory.
