24 sie 2020 · The 2.3 is more powerful than any stock V8 that came in a Bronco before, has better transmission ratios (both manual and 10 speed), and has modern engine management that can adjust detonation, air fuel etc. Yup it’s not a V8...yup won’t sound as good...yup will be the most powerful engine available with a manual transmission in any BOF SUV.

23 sty 2022 · The main reason I'd want one is so I could get a standard transmission. The 2.3 is also pretty easy to work on, has shown to be reliable, and still makes plenty of power. Both engines have been out for 7 years, get whatever one you want. I have the 2.3 because manual transmission and am very happy with it.
