3 lut 2022 · Locating Digitized Deck Logs. Some Deck Logs are already digitally available on the National Archives’ online Catalog. To determine if a Deck Log is digitally available, conduct a search for the ship on our Catalog. Search for the name of the ship without using “USS” as a prefix.
3 lut 2022 · 1965-1978 Deck Logs. Deck log remarks pages changed format again in 1965, with spaces for filling out the ship's longitude and latitude at three different times during the day appearing at the top of each day's remarks page, often these were completed in part or not completed at all.
21 sie 2023 · Logbooks, also referred to as Captain's Logs or Deck Logs, consist of chronological entries documenting the daily activities of a Navy ship or unit. Individual logbooks are arranged chronologically by date, with entries in each day's log arranged chronologically by the time of day.

We are unable to provide specific details, estimations, or time tables on when any particular ship's logs will be made available on our online Catalog.
