18 mar 2022 · I've been having the hardest time getting Phillips CDI games to work in both mame and retroarch so I've compiled 2 emulators and a collection of files with a typed walk through on how to get games going.
I have been trying to use the Same CDi core and I cannot get it to work! I get the "Fatal Error: Required Files Are Missing". To clarify, I have tried putting the bios zip files (and loose files) in the original bios folder, in a custom bios folder, and in the same folder as the game files.

The name removes the name MAME altogether, as thats what I gather the MAME folks want for a fork ...
Compared to MAME/MESS, it's far easier to setup. To load a CDi disc image (.chd and .iso are supported now), all you need to do is putting "cdibios.zip", "cdimono1.zip", and "cdimono2.zip" inside "RetroArch/system/same_cdi/bios" folder (technically, only "cdimono1.zip" is required and the other two files are optional).
