6 sie 2019 · Just for the record I managed to set up the Philips CDi rather painlessly & with very little problem. It was the very first emulator I set up in both RetroArch & LaunchBox and this factor was the key to my success & failure setting up other systems further down the line.
The retroarch core named "same_cdi" allows to play Philips CD-i disks. It's an open source fork of Mame available for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux, but right now there is no ARM build. The core support BIN/CUE files as well as CHD.
Just saw this new core today under "Core Downloader" for Philips CDi emulation. Here are a few thing I noticed after some testing on Windows and Android. It is a stripped-down MESS core (you can still enter MESS's config screen by pressing TAB key).
