We maintain 8 separate private upland bird hunting field locations of ideal Pheasant & Quail habitat on the Preserve. Ongoing improvements to all hunting areas are assessed annually by owners with members suggestions.

The club has 455 acres of groomed fields, wooded hedgerows, and forest all specifically maintained for upland bird hunting. Each year we raise just over 23,000 pheasants from day-old chicks both for member use and for sale to other preserves and stocking programs in the Northeast.
Hunter’s Garden Preserve is a hunting preserve with available membership on Long Island, New York’s finest pheasant and upland hunting grounds. Hunter’s Garden Preserve is situated 65 miles east of Manhattan in a small hamlet at the beginning of the Hamptons known as Northampton.
We offer (fair chase) bird hunts, and stock Pheasants, Chukar, Hungarian Partridge, and Quail. We are open 7 days a week. Our season runs from September 1st to April 15th. Reservations are required. Our morning hunts begin at 9am, afternoon hunts at 1pm.
