Seen this couple times, if the check engine light is on see for codes but sounds like the Evap purge pump or could be the turbo wastegate. Seem the waste gate stay open causing it to run rough till got the rpm’s up
30 maj 2022 · The idle on these DI motors are tuned from the factory to have a low RPM idle and the timing/fueling is cut back to produce a lean condition...to help with emissions. Because of this, the idle will slightly stumble a little bit here and there.
My 2013 Silverado with the 5.3L V8 developed the same rough idle on start-up so many others have reported. 39,000 miles. No trouble codes and the rough idle only lasted a few seconds. After reading dozens of forums with multiple ideas I went with the cheapest/easiest first.
