Owls can learn claw as a focus dump and bats can learn bite. Also the second difference is the type of food pets eats , owl will be happy with meat. But for bats you need fungus.
A bat or owl with Screech is useful for progression raids when tanks/healers aren't geared enough, and great in 5 man dungeons and leveling as well. Wolf is BIS for farming Dire Maul Tribute as the Howl ability makes ping ponging aggro much easier.

23 lut 2020 · Owl or cat are generally the best. Differences are minor but for general leveling owl is the best of the screech pets and cat is the best of the pure dps pets. Ultimately it is still probably best to just pick a pet you like.
16 lip 2021 · What is the expected differences/effects between Claw on Owl versus Bite on Bat ? More dps from Claw ? Survival Hunter (with high crit rate) can generate a lot of Focus with Go for the Throat, Claw seems interesting compared to Bite with his CD.
