Pericardium: The pericardium is a fluid filled sac that encloses the heart and the ends of its major blood vessels including the aorta, vena cava and pulmonary artery. The pericardium is made of three layers: 1. Outer fibrous sac–fibrous pericardium, 2. Middle layer–parietal pericardium. 3. Inner layer–visceral pericardium
