The Pennsylvania Newspaper Archive is a freely accessible web resource developed and hosted by Penn State University Libraries. The archive provides access to the Commonwealth’s historical newspapers as a single portal for all digitized Pennsylvania newspapers.

The Archival Collections database is home to collection guides (also known as finding aids) for archival materials across the Penn State University Libraries system. They interpret and provide access to collections held in the Special Collections Library, as well as other branch and Commonwealth Campus locations.
In the early 2000s, Penn State University Libraries worked extensively with Internet Archive to publish a selection of digitized monographs, serials, and microfilm resources held by the Eberly Family Special Collection Library. Penn State University Libraries currently has over 3,000 items in Internet Archive.
