These recommendations are a working document whose purpose is to provide clinicians with the most up-to-date consensus on the diagnosis and management of pemphigus. Further studies are needed to clarify optimal therapeutic regimens and describe their safety and efficacy in the treatment of pemphigus.
Abstract. Background: Several European countries recently developed international diagnostic and management guidelines for pemphigus, which have been instrumental in the standardization of pemphigus management. Objective: We now present results from a subsequent Delphi consensus to broaden the generalizability of the recommendations.
