12 mar 2024 · I have had a few Case knives over the years. I received a Navy blue bone mini trapper for Christmas. Last month the RED SHIELD fell off! Has anyone noticed any recent quality issues with Case or is this an abberation? I posted a note on the forum on the Case site; have not heard back yet.
The lid is stopped by the little horizontal tabs on the back of the case (between the three 'finger' like reinforcing tabs). The cases are made of fiber reinforced plastic; they're not overly hard to cut. I'd to at it with a rotary tool and a cutoff wheel or a short saw (even just a piece of a hacksaw blade). 5. Award.

1 lut 2011 · It is my opinion - certainly not unique - that Case knives are 'good' knives - with the customer as the final QC inspector. Especially great if you don't 'need' a knife - but 'want' a special variant - or commemorative - knife for your collection.
29 mar 2016 · Blade thickness and grind - Rough Rider blades, are often thinner blade stock than that of Case knives, but I must add that this is not necessarily an issue, as they slice very well.

28 paź 2014 · As may be evident by now, the Case Sway Back Gent does not feature a lock, and should the blade fold during use, you will most likely get a pretty nasty bite. The solution is to not allow the blade to fold by performing tasks suitable for its intended purpose.
