PEG tube feeding is generally superior to nasogastric tube feeding in terms of patients’ comfort, long-term use, and feeding efficiency.
Minor complications include peri-stomal site infection, overgranulation tissue, peristomal leakage and tube blockage.7 In this narrative review, existing evidence of minor postprocedural PEG complications is explored while focusing on prevention and management.
