2 maj 2020 · When Peace isn't working that means Equalizer APO isn't working. On Windows 10 and 11 this is usually caused by the wrong default setting of "Install as" dropdown box. So try these settings in the following order: 1. SFX/EFX. 2. SFX/MFX. 3. LFX/GFX (Read below notes! This might work for certain Windows updates)
Try reinstalling EqualizerAPO, not Peace. Check your sound settings in Windows. Go to device properties, enhancement settings and make sure you don't have "Disable all enhancements" clicked. I've tried all of the troubleshooting methods under the sun to get Equalizerapo working but I have never been able to.

17 paź 2023 · Actually, Peace's inability to toggle just the EQ On/Off without changing the Preamp is why I usually recommend stock EQApo, even to beginners. I find being able to test EQ On vs Off really important, so that's one feature I'd recommend the Peace developer to add.
25 lis 2023 · Unfortunately it does happen that Equalizer APO installed on a device isn't working. Peace relies on this to work. Sometimes a Windows update makes Equalizer APO not work out of the box.

You can use preamp settings to check if it's working by lowering the value there, so it will get quiter once you turn on EQ. If something doesn't work, there are some compatibility options to get APO working.
