25 wrz 2021 · If you can’t see or load a PDF in Safari, one of the easiest fixes is to stop using Safari to try to view the PDF. This means copying the PDF’s URL from Safari and pasting it into another browser, like Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Edge works very well on Macs, for the record).

1 kwi 2009 · I have Safari set up to open .pdf documents in a browser tab. Currently it uses Adobe reader to do this. I'd like to change it so that Skim is used to view .pdf files in a tab instead. Skim is already my default .pdf viewer in Finder. Is there a way to specify which .pdf app to use in Safari?
6 sty 2024 · When I click a link to a pdf on Safari on Mac, it downloads the pdf file instead of viewing it in the browser tab. Reading previous similar questions, it seems like this behavior is supposed to be determined by the website which hosts the file.

29 gru 2022 · After downloading the .pdf file, Right-click or Control-click the .pdf file and select the "Preview" app. If you have other apps installed which can view .pdf files, then you can try selecting one of them to open it as well to compare the results.
