6 wrz 2016 · 1993–1999. Prior to 1993, PBS ' children's programming used the regular PBS branding. The first PBS Kids logo was based on PBS' 1984 logo and animated by Gene Mackles as part of PBS' ongoing transformation of its children's strand into a service known as Ready to Learn, which was launched in eleven test markets at that time.

18 paź 2024 · On VHS and DVD releases of PBS Kids shows, the word " kids video" appears below the logo. Both Dot and Dash were used for both variants. It was used until late 2013, with the regular Dash logo being used on several DVDs of PBS Kids shows. It was replaced with the 2013 logos on post-2014 DVDs.

Background: PBS Kids is a programming block and serves as the brand for most of the children's programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the United States, established as part of PBS' "Ready To Learn" Initiative. The block was launched as PTV on September 10, 1993 to repackage PBS' existing children's programming.
