   3 maj 2013 · So, I got me a new set of pipes, They are Patriot Defenders, made in Tiwan. Heard a lot of good things about them. Just thought I'd share with you guys. First, they are extremely affordable, $395 shipped to anywhere in the US. They have a tunable baffold setup, So you can make them louder or softer with a few turns of a hex wrench.

   It's not the best looking exhaust to most people, but it definitely puts out the most power per dollar. There are a few downsides that I've read about. For one, the pipe hangs pretty low compared to many other exhausts and you may run in to the issue of dragging it on a right hand curve again.

   16 gru 2014 · Hammer Performance did some extensive testing on exhausts for XL's. Check out the dyno sheets and their reviews yourself HERE. They have a lot of the top exhausts on that list. The Defender is one of the top pipes. This applies only to the XL motors.
