My first thought was to try an Eldritch Archer variant who use sling staves instead of bows. If you're open to modding, Toybox enables multiple archetypes. You could do something like Eldritch Archer+Eldritch Scion 16 / Dragon Disciple 4 (+4 STR) Trickster; or push it into Legend path with something like EA+ES 20 / DD 4 / Mutation Warrior 16.
12 lut 2012 · The problem is that the sling starts below a bow as an optimal ranged weapon, the only benefit being +str to damage, which you can get with a comp bow anyway. And then you're taking a -2 to str in the first place for being a halfling.
21 lip 2017 · I'd say step 1 is figuring out if a sling staff with the Versatile Weapon upgrade (Adventurer's Armory 2) would be usable with all those nice bow-only feats or the Gunslinger's class features. If so, this gets way easier.
