  1. Looking at 686's and I noticed there are three variants. The only difference I can see is that the Deluxe has a round wooden butt and fluted cylinder. Am I missing something?

  2. 8 mar 2022 · The 7 inch barrel is only available in the 3-5-7 series. They were originally a Talo distributor exclusive model that included a 3 inch, 5 inch and the 7 inch 686, with those same grips and an unfluted cylinder.

  3. 15 maj 2024 · If you’re looking for a long-barreled .357 Magnum revolver that looks good, has collector value, is hefty enough to keep recoil manageable, has extra ammo on board, and shoots great, the 3-5-7 7x7 Model 686 Plus checks all the boxes. The test sample revolver was exceptionally accurate.

  7. 3 kwi 2024 · The Smith & Wesson 686+ has a 3″ barrel in all stainless and weighs in at a stout 36.6 oz. The L Frame revolver has some interesting features that drew my attention like the black wooden grips and an unfluted cylinder that holds a total of 7 shots.
