Adopt. All pets adopted from FOPAS are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for heartworms (dogs) and FIV/FeLeuk (cats), on heart worm prevention (if applicable), and microchipped. All adopters must live within a 4 hour drive of Parkville, MO.

**Humane Reminder** Dumping an animal in Parkville is illegal and inhumane. Please contact us to schedule a proper hand-off. Help is a phone call away and can prevent needless suffering. We will spare you the details but please know our volunteers have seen it all. There are humane options.
