Hi everyone, I'm planning to get my first Panther Chameleon and would love some advice before doing so. Here’s my setup so far: Enclosure: Dragonstrand Tall Hybrid Chameleon Cage System 3 x Govee Temperature Humidity Monitors (top near the basking spot, bottom, and outside the enclosure) 120mm fan attached to the bottom front.
The OP is buying a panther, not a veiled so the risk of the moss getting ingested is minimal. Admittedly there's a tiny risk if the feeders are allowed to free roam but otherwise I do not believe this is an issue.

Panthers, in my experience, are somewhat more environmentally demanding than other generally "beginner friendly" chameleons like Veileds. This shouldn't scare you at all. I want to make that clear.

16 paź 2023 · Panther chameleons arguably do much better as pets, assuming they are well cared for. A captive bred, pet panther chameleon will typically live between 2-5 years and up to 8 years of age while a wild panther chameleon lifespan is only 1-2 years.
