A total of 28 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer who agreed to receive alkalization therapy, were treated with alkalization therapy, consisting of an alkaline diet with oral sodium bicarbonate (3.0−5.0 g/day). We found that alkalization therapy significantly increased the mean urine pH.
