The film festival, held each September, is a vital cultural event in Palm Springs, known for its rich history of LGBTQ+ activism, entertainment, and support.
The 1992 film, one of most successful gay videos of all time, blew the locks off UK censorship barriers to showing explicit gay sexuality on screen. Just five years later, the 1997 film continued that tradition by blowing the doors off, with Aiden Shaw (aka Aiden Brady) as its iconic star.

3 wrz 2024 · Cinema Diverse, the annual Palm Springs celebration of LGBTQ+ films and filmmakers, returns for its 17th outing. The festival opens at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 19 and runs through Sunday, September 22, then returns for a second four-day run September 26-29.

The festival opens on Thursday, September 19th at 7pm, and runs to Sunday, September 22nd, then takes a brief break before returning on Thursday, September 26th and running to Sunday, September 29th.
