As a Cassie gamer, I can't disagree. She can be played as either a flank or dmg, and has burst comparable to Lian's ult - making her a DM machine. Unlike most characters with burst, she doesn't have to sacrifice an ult/resource, suffer a low fire rate, or even get into close range.
So I'm level 40 with Cassie, highest lvl champion that I have, I just love her, her playstyle is so cool, and the character is outstanding, no doubt she is my favorite. I know how to play her with each legendary and I have my loadouts for each of them (exaction, big game and impulse).
Abilities. Crossbow - Cassie's crossbows deals 680 damage every .75 seconds. Her shots connect easily at close range but at further ranges you may have to predict your enemies movements. Blastshot - This deals 450 damage on a 10 second cooldown. It is best paired with your primary fire doing a burst of 1130 damage.

She's a high skill ceiling champion, so you can do very well with her if your aim is excellent. That's been true since launch and it's still true now. However, that fact tends to attract really toxic assholes that want to show off and talk shit, so Cassie mains have a bit of a negative reputation.
