Many commentators in the Western world look upon Pakistani feminism as a recent phenomenon, applauding South-Asian feminists for their progression up the scale of human development as they advocate for women’s equality and basic human rights within an oppressive, religious, male-dominated culture.
This paper comprises of three parts. Part-1 explains the approach with modern aspects; part-2 elaborates a summary regarding hard works for women empowerment in Pakistan; in part-3, the degree of achieving empowerment is analyzed by using some social indicators.
