It seems they only offer 6 or 12 point in the socket sets and to get both in the same size you have to buy one of the bigger tool kits. I bought a 12 point impact set last week by accident. I ended up taking it back and exchanging it for 6pt. 98K subscribers in the harborfreight community.
They make 6 point and 12 points. The packaging looks identical except the detail picture usually, it will be on the left hand corner telling you which one for 6 or 12 point. It will be on an end cap, close to wrenches and also over air impact tools.

Those look like Pittsburgh, 1/2" drive, impact rated, 6 point deeps. I'm a diesel tech as well, this is my set I use everyday. On a 1200 ft lb gun. Never broken one. However if you want to remove a cummins engine 10 mm bolt with a Pittsburgh 1/4" drive 12 point, save your knuckles.
